Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data RyxAI ("we", "us") processes when you add the RyxAI bot to a Discord server or use the RyxAI dashboard, and how we handle it.

What we collect

Discord messages and metadata from channels the bot can see, processed to provide moderation, engagement, and admin features. Recent messages and derived context (such as server knowledge entries, user profiles your server enables, nicknames, and birthdays members register) are stored to make those features work.
Server configuration — channels, roles, toggles, personality, and rules your admins set in the dashboard or through the bot.
Moderation records — actions the bot took or flagged (who, where, why), kept so admins have an audit trail.
Voice recordings — only when an admin explicitly starts meeting notes; the recording is transcribed and then handled per the retention rules below.
Account and billing data — when you sign in to the dashboard, authentication is handled by Clerk; payments are processed by our billing provider. We never see or store your card details.

AI processing

To power its features, RyxAI sends relevant message content to large-language-model providers acting as our processors — currently Google (Gemini), OpenAI, and Groq/DeepInfra — and GIF search queries to Giphy. These providers process the content to return a result and are not permitted to use it to train their models under our API terms with them.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data or your members' data. Ever.
We do not share server content with third parties beyond the processors listed above.
We do not read channels the bot has no access to — remove its channel permissions and it cannot see them.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data is stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure with credentials restricted to the operator.

Retention and deletion

Short-term conversational memory is automatically cleaned up on a rolling basis.
Server knowledge, profiles, and configuration persist while the bot is in your server so features keep working.
Kick the bot (or ask us at the address below) and we will delete your server's stored data on request.
You can revoke all of RyxAI's access at any time from your Discord server settings.

Children

RyxAI is intended for Discord users who meet Discord's minimum age requirements in their country.

We'll update this page when the policy changes; material changes will be noted on the site.
